COVID-19 and cancellation policies

In order to practice safely during this time, the studio will be adhering to the following policies. We thank you for your patience and understanding of our small business.

All classes:

Cancellation policy: We want everyone in the Downdog Tribe to get their workouts in and meet their fitness goals, so in order to plan our classes appropriately and allow space for everyone, we require at least 8 hours cancellation notice. After this window, a $20 late cancellation fee will apply. Please contact Melissa as soon as you know you’ll need to cancel. Private Sessions will be charged a session for a late cancel (non emergency less than 48 hrs notice) Reformer classes will also be charged a class for less than 48hr notice.

COVID-19: If you are not feeling well and showing symptoms of COVID-19, as much as we love you, please do not attend class. Please contact Melissa as soon as possible so that she can fill the space for the class. 24 hours for group classes and 48 hours for Reformer would be very much appreciated if possible.

Students MUST bring their own mat and water bottle. The studio is not renting mats or selling water at this time. Please make sure to take all belongings with you when you leave.

Group classes:

  • In accordance with NH state guidelines, our studio can safely accommodate 10 students per group class. Students must practice 8ft apart and will have floor markings to place their mats down in designated spaces.

  • Students MUST pre-register before each class. If the class is full, students will be placed on a waitlist for that particular class for that week OR have the option to take the class live via Zoom /access a Zoom recording of the class. Unfortunately, if a student shows up to class without registering and the class is full, we will be forced to turn you away in order to comply with capacity guidelines.

  • Please plan to arrive 10-15 min prior to the class, no earlier or later. Each student will need to allow for time to wash hands before entering the studio, set mat down, locate props, and then hand sanitize again. Hanging out in the hallway, restrooms, and studio is prohibited at this time. We can still socialize safely once on mats and set up. Students will need to wear a cloth mask while entering the studio/setting up and while exiting the studio, but not during the class.

  • There are two doors to the studio and gym and we will be using both before and after class.

  • Once the class has finished, students will need to clean all props before replacing on shelves, bins and racks.

Reformer classes:

  • Students participating in Reformer Classes will need to allow for enough time for hand washing and sanitizing before class.

  • Students are asked to please wear a clean pair of socks for the class. This could change in the future but for now, the less contact with equipment is the safer option. Students will need to arrive with a cloth mask and exit with the mask covering their mouth and nose.

  • Student will not need to pre-register in addition to regular Reformer registration, but please contact us as soon as possible if not feeling well.

Personal/Small group training sessions:

  • Personal clients already have a set date and time for sessions. Please allow time for handwashing, sanitizing, and wear a face mask entering the session.

  • Melissa will need to keep a safe distance from clients and will wear a face mask for one-on-one sessions.

  • Since both the gym and studio side will be used for group classes, personal clients will be asked to wait in their cars until the class is finished, dismissed, and the room is sanitized.

  • Students who are not feeling well and exhibiting any symptoms of COVID 19 are asked to contact Melissa as soon as possible. The same cancellation policy as mentioned above will hold true for personal clients and small group training as well. Please note, if you are sick and need to miss a session, we will be following all recommended CDC guidelines for your return.

Payment:

Payment is available through Square (in studio), Venmo, cash or check at this time. Square can be accessed through an emailed invoice or carefully in the studio. We prefer to have minimal physical contact with credit cards right now. Venmo is a very easy way to make a quick online payment and can be accessed through @Melissa-Martin-1038.

Cash (please exact amount if possible) and checks are still accepted and can be made out to Downdog Flow Yoga & Pilates. Please contact Melissa.

Thank you again to ALL of you for your support and understanding! It’s appreciated so very much. We are grateful to be open even if it looks different for the time being.
