Power vinyasa yoga

When: Monday 5:30 - 6:30p

Instructor: Melissa      *Level 2/3

 

In this 60 minute class, we begin with a slow warm up and intention setting, gradually building heat through challenging flows, and culminating in a grand peak pose. Sequences are designed with powerful movements and breath alignment, integrating core exercises for building strength and flexibility. The room is heated to encourage stretching and the sweating out of toxins. Each class brings a new fun and creative journey to keep your muscles confused and your mind sharp! 


Barre mixer

When: Tuesday 7:30a - 8:30a   

Instructor: Melissa        *Level 3

 

An intense and unique blend of practices, this class is sure to get you fired up! Powerful postures and exercises are incorporated from the disciplines of barre, Pilates and power yoga, designed to sculpt your calves, inner/outer thighs, glutes and core. Varied weights and props are used for toning and strength building. Socks are required…be prepared to sweat and burn! 


Reformer training

When: Tuesday/Thursday 4 - 5p

Instructors: Melissa *Level 3

 

The Reformer is a spring resistance apparatus designed by Joseph Pilates to effectively teach and challenge the student. Allowing for full range of motion, the Reformer will strengthen and stretch the body, creating body awareness and control. The results of the Reformer are impressive, creating a long and lean physique. Recovering from an injury? The Reformer is an ideal way to build or maintain strength while letting your body heal.

Power pilates

When: Wednesday 5:30 - 6:30p

Instructor: Melissa          *Level 3

 

This 75 minute class is guaranteed to burn your core, shake your inner thighs and fire up your shoulders. You’ll feel the heat through dynamic movements including planks, 100’s, lunges, squats, swimming and more - incorporating props like Pilates' balls, rings and weights. Get ready to walk out feeling lean, strong and confident.



Wake-up call

When: Thursday 9 - 10a   TBD on return date

Surprise is the name of the game in this 60 minute class. It’s a wake up call the moment you step foot into the studio because every class is completely different and anything goes. Exercises from barre to power yoga, circuit training to high intensity intervals, an entirely new workout that you’ve never experienced, or a mix of all of the above keep you on your toes. And before you know it, things might switch up right in the middle of class! Stay sharp and get ready to work.


Yoga flow & restore

When: Thursday 5:30 - 6:30p

Instructor: Melissa *Level 1/2

 

The perfect winddown to the week, this 60 minute class starts off with a warming vinyasa flow to stretch the body and release tightness. Aligning breath and movement brings things into focus as you begin to build just enough heat. Then we’ll slow things down with restorative ball rolling, deep facial release and meditation, focusing on a different area of the body in each class. Closing things out with savasana brings a sense of peace and rejuvenation. This class is ideal for all, from students new to yoga and to experienced athletes.


Shredded

When: Friday 9 - 10a

Shredded is the ultimate trifecta of a workout, combining body weight movements, kettle bells and the deep stretch and strength of power yoga. Rev up your metabolism and torch fat through intense intervals, varied with fast and slow yoga flows. Guaranteed to make you sweat, you’ll feel the benefits of this 60 minute interval workout all day long.


20-20-20

When: Saturday 9 - 10a  

Instructor: Melissa          *Level 2/3

 

A unique interval class like no other, this 60 minute Saturday morning sweat combines 3 classic disciplines for the ultimate full body workout. The elegance and toning of barre, the strength and core power of Pilates, and the flexibility and restoration of yoga target your legs, core, shoulders and arms to leave you feeling strong and energized. A little cardio keeps things heated in between exercises. You’ll be ready for anything after this one of a kind workout!

Payment is available through Square (in studio), Venmo, cash or check at this time. Square can be accessed through an emailed invoice or carefully in the studio. We prefer to have minimal physical contact with credit cards right now. Venmo is a very easy way to make a quick online payment and can be accessed through @Melissa-Martin-1038.

Reformer trainings

 

Learn the reformer, practice specific exercises, and discover the best technique for a stronger, leaner you in a semi-private group setting.

Reformer specific policies - Classes are small ( 3 Reformers) so that each student receives personal attention to have the best and safest workout possible. Students must sign up ahead of time to secure a spot in this class. If you cannot attend a class that has been signed up for, please cancel within 48 hours so that the spot can be filled. If you fail to show up with no contact, then you will be charged for the class.


Private sessions

 

Custom designed to meet your goals, private sessions are a great way to deepen or "tune up" your practice. Examples of specific goals for private lessons include:

  • Rehabilitating injuries

  • Improving basic technique, postures, and structures

  • Cross-training bodyweight training for athletes

  • Working on hand and balancing inversions

  • Primal movement

  • Mastering specific advanced poses
