Asana and Workshop

Experience the physical and psychological benefits of Yin Yoga coupled with the use of Young Living Essential Oils.  The basic tenants of Yin are, come into a pose, and find the appropriate edge, resolve to remain still and hold the pose for time. While the physical benefits of Yin range from detoxifying tissue, preventing degeneration of the bones and increasing mobility of the joint, the mental benefits vary as well. This practice will allow you to learn to relax and let go of the chaos while improving you range of motion (flexibility) and spine health.  The Essential Oils add a lovely depth to the practice of relaxation. This practice is wonderful for athletes and desk sitters alike.

Pam Godbois

Pam Godbois, RYT 200, came to yoga in 2000 while in graduate school for Social Work after years of chronic back pain. She noticed that her back pain was decreasing and she had found a new home on the mat. Yoga has brought a sense of peace and calm to her body and mind and allowed her to gain perspective on life. As a result, Pam is skilled at encouraging her students to let go of expectations and see what happens.

Pam began teaching Pilates Mat classes in 2007 and has experience offering beginner, intermediate and advanced levels of practice. Pilates led her to the completion of her 200 hour yoga training in Vinyasa with Lynne Beiger and Ame Wren at Back Bay Yoga in Boston. Pam has also completed Yin Yoga training with Josh Summers, Prenatal Yoga training with Bec Conant and is certified to teach children through ChildLight Yoga.

Her goal in teaching is to provide a fun, supportive and safe environment for individuals to grow their practice both on and off the mat. As a teacher, Pam believes in letting go of competition and judgment and accepting who we are today. You will find her group classes and private sessions infused with introspection, reflection and humor to accomplish this. Pam simply loves to teach, whether handstand or butterfly, her passion for sharing the principles and asana of yoga with shine through.
